Is Windows Vista for Loser ? not Quite Yet !

Do you think Vista is just for loser? Slow, unstable, resources consuming, annoying security prompt…and YES, I admit all the problems is there! However, I still love Vista for its’ cool desktop, better gaming experience, better sound effect, faster file search and extremely powerful (buggy on some hardware!) hybrid sleep mode!

What is your choice? Why do you want Vista or XP?

To be frank, I didn’t like Vista much when I first installed it. The computer is slow and just struggling to start up, the hardware drivers is not fully compatible and tons of software problems. Then I stopped using it and revert back to XP for almost 11 months. After upgrading my computer to Core 2 Quard, 4 GB RAM, then everything seems to be much better! However, I still get this software incompatible problems from time to time.

Do you want to upgrade now? I recommend you stay with XP unless you are getting a brand new PC. Windows XP runs faster after Service Pack 3, you should keep it until you get a new PC. The reason you should get Vista is : You purchase some fast hardware, and you need a new license!

How about enthusiast, do they like Vista?

I considered myself a computer enthusiast, but I am using Vista! That doesn’t make me a loser, because I know how to tweak Vista, and how to unleash its’ potential. I can even turn Vista into XP, and still enjoying some of the great features.

Vista is the future Windows, if your hardware advanced enough, then you know what I mean. After using Vista for 4 months, I manage to speed up my Vista just like XP, minimize the stability problems and always boot up within 5 seconds using the hybrid sleep mode! I am very happy with it, although sometime it still gives me some compatibility issues, but I think Microsoft will rectify this in the near future.
